Community First Initiatives

We are seeking to help meet the needs of students and teachers at Carver Elementary School this Christmas season in Jesus' name. Carver Elementary School is a source of hope and strength for Carver families in many ways. We are partnering with the school in an effort to help kids learn more effectively this school year. The school's leadership desires to get more kids off of iPads and turning pages, but the school is experiencing a budget shortfall when it comes to paper. The negative effects of prolonged screen time on kids has been well-documented and, while Carver Elementary is doing what is best for the kids, they are running out of room in their paper budget. This is why Harvest City Church is stepping up to help raise funding to purchase paper for the school.

We want to raise $2,000 for paper at Carver Elementary by December 31, 2024. This would allow us to gift around 200,000 sheets of paper to Carver Elementary to get more kids off of screens and turning pages in 2025.
